I have always enjoyed reading. Motherhood has introduced me to explore & learn more about the dynamic of parenting.
Got this Bright from the Start by Dr. Jill Stamm in Popular. It's one great title I would recommend my friends to check it out.
It stresses on the importance of ABCs of parenting (which I always believe are the key ingredients to raising a happy child).
A - Attention
B - Bonding
C - Communication
The author shared many simple ideas and wways to encourage both intellectual & social-emotional growth.
In this competitive & modern society, parents have been sending their children to all kinds of enrichment courses from as young as 6 Months old.
Now that I am a mum, I cant help but constantly ask myself whether it's necessary for me to do so. Afterall, we want the best for our children.
This book puts me into perspective and reminds me that parents are the best teachers for our children. I will continue to nourish Lovie's growing brain with lots of love and intelligent fun.

Tonight Ah Gong & Ah Ma attending their church friend's wedding anniversary. No family dinner for us. Daddy & mummy decided to bring me to spend my afternoon with them before visiting Gong Gong & Ma Ma too. What a busy Saturday for me!
