Aunty Gek Eng is so resourceful. Introduced Mummy The Polliwogs playground @ East Coast Parkway. Since mummy is on leave today, she decided to bring me over to check out this new find.
Interesting to find a number of Japanese mummies hanging out with their toddlers this afternoon. The indoor playground is suitable for toddlers & above. There's limited space for me to crawl around as the place is packed with Chey Chey and Kor Kor running & jumping around. Nevetheless, we will definetely introduce this playground to Kor Kor Marcus, Alton and Chey Chey Tong Tong. I am sure they will love it!

Mummy registered me for Learn & Play Level 2 trial session at Gymboree today as Tumble Tots is closed.
Guess what! We are late so end up giving this session a miss.
While we didnt get to attend the session, Daddy & Mummy got to observe how the trial session is being conducted. Both find Free Play more suitable for me since Mummy, Daddy & Chey Chey have been actively singing & playing with me everyday. They just hope for a bigger compound area for me to exercise & crawl about.

It's kinda disconcerting when Lovie refused to let great grandparents and relatives pick up. Is Lovie developing strangers anxiety?
As Mummy read up more, she begins to understand this is normal stage of growing up. Babies begin to show fear of strangers around 7 - 9 months. Once a friendly and smiley little Lovie, turns a crying baby lately when others wanted to pick her up.
She is assured this stage will pass after much reading. She is determined to let me get close to great grandparents. Brought me to their place to spend an afternoon with them so I can slowly warm up to them.
Tips Mummy has learnt :
- Stay close to your child when new people are around. Infants react more fearfully to strangers when their mothers or caregivers are not close by.
- Show your child that new people are OK. When you greet a stranger in a friendly way, with smiles and a positive tone of voice, children are less likely to feel afraid.
- Give your child time to get used to new surroundings before meeting a stranger.
- Try bringing a familiar toy or stuffed animal for comfort.
- Encourage new people to approach slowly and gently, without immediately touching your child.
- Pay close attention to your baby’s reactions, and respond.
- If your baby cries or looks afraid with a new person, it’s OK to comfort her and try again later.
- Avoid sneaking out on your child when leaving. Although it might seem easier at the time, children may feel confused or betrayed when they realise you’re gone. When leaving your child with someone, tell your child that he will be safe and that you will be back soon.

It's double celebrations today! Mid-Autmn Festival & Great Grandpa Birthday! Happpy Birthday, Great Grandpa!
Sorry that I misbehaved myself today. Very cranky, displaying 'Cant Touch Me' expression each time anyone tried to carry me. I begin to recognise faces and in my world now, it's only Mummy, Daddy & Chey Chey.
Pls be patient with me. I will outgrown this stage and learn to accept & welcome every hug.
Daddy wasnt with us at the birthday dinner as he attended Aunty Gina's wedding at Sentosa. Congrats Aunty Gina!

This issue of Mother and Baby magazine is giving away a free magnetic photo-frame. It's cool. There're 2 versions available, 'I love Mummy' or 'I love Daddy'.
Mummy obviously chose the 'I love Mummy' frame!
Guess what! Daddy is jealous. He got himself one more magazine which comes along with 'I love Daddy' frame. Haha...now it's fair.

Dislike it when mummy trys to doll me up with hairband, pins or hat.Find it so irritating and what's more...it's warm! I will find ways to pull it off and put into my mouth. Yummy...nice to chew!
Mummy always has her way. Managed to put on this new hairband on me while I was enjoying the little einstein programme. How do I look with a flower growing on my head?

Every night, Daddy & Mummy will always make an effort to spend uninterrupted, quality time with me before I turn in for the night.
So much fun and laughters. Now that I can sit up, I enjoy tapping the bed with both hands recently. Daddy & Mummy do it together.
I enjoy listening to Mummy, singing all my favourite nursery rhymes. Daddy also begin to join in the singing lately. Not bad...I am surprise Daddy can sing well.
